What Bush Did Not 4-C.

Corrente (www.corrente.blogspot.com) quotes from a Knight Ridder Newspaper article on Bush's pre-invasion planning for Iraq in March of 2003:

"Near the end of his presentation, an Army lieutenant colonel who was giving a briefing showed a slide describing the Pentagon's plans for rebuilding Iraq after the war, known in the planners' parlance as Phase 4-C. He was uncomfortable with his material - and for good reason.

The slide said: "To Be Provided."'

There was no plan for the occupation of Iraq -- none, nada, zip. Given all the disastrous decisions made by the Bush administration after Saddam was ousted, that does not come as a total surprise, but it is still astounding. Incredible incompetence.

I wonder if Power Point slide 4-B was a picture of a ticker-tape parade?

See the whole sorry, horrifying tale about Bush's lack of planning at
